How long does my HVAC system last?
The typical lifespan of an HVAC system is 15 to 20 years when properly maintained. However, it's important to note that individual components may require replacement earlier. Factors such as usage patterns and local climate conditions can influence the overall longevity of the system. How often should I schedule maintenance for my HVAC System?
Professional maintenance should be scheduled biannually. It's recommended to have your system serviced in spring before the cooling season begins, and again in fall prior to the heating season. This regular preventative care ensures optimal system efficiency and helps prevent unexpected, costly emergency repairs. How often should I replace my air filters?
For standard 1-3 inch filters, replacement is typically necessary every 30 to 90 days. This frequency can vary based on factors such as pet ownership, allergies, and system usage. Homes with pets or allergy sufferers may need more frequent filter changes. High-efficiency filters can last 6 to 12 months, but it's always best to consult the manufacturer's specific recommendations. What are the signs that I need to replace my HVAC system?
Indicators that your HVAC system may need replacement include: age exceeding 15 years, recurring costly repairs, increasing energy bills, inconsistent heating or cooling, unusual noises, use of outdated R-22 refrigerant, excessive dust or humidity problems, short-cycling, and persistent comfort issues despite repairs. When multiple issues occur simultaneously, system replacement is often more cost-effective than continued repairs.Do you have any warranties?
All installations come with a comprehensive one-year labor warranty as standard. For added peace of mind, Rheem products include a 10-year parts warranty, while Cooper & Hunter systems feature an extended 6-year parts warranty plus 8-year compressor coverage.

The annual agreement covers both heating and cooling tune-ups for the year, and includes additional benefits such as waived after-hours service call charges, reduced utility bills, and a 10% discount on all service and repair calls. What indoor air quality systems do you offer?
